Just an average everyday guy. I have my passions and I have my faults. I'm loyal as a dog and all-around pretty awesome.
I like to draw, watercolor and do lettering. I'm a voracious reader. I collect old books.
Dude when people are having a conversation about shit dont be that dude that says well this kills more pople than that so what your saying is moot. THe conversation is about this. Your just being a dick with nothing to actually imput into an actual coversation and just trying to sideline actual facts with shit your bringing up that has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. lets say if im talking about with someone that " alligators kill way more people than lions, and your comeback with your argument is but noo cancer kills way more people than alligators so why even talk about it. " That is what you sound like. and you sound like a dick,
Alright. Alright. I concede. Revolver is a fantastic mind-bender of a movie. I really enjoyed it. But it seems Ritchie peaked here and never recovered. And for the record, Snatch was just okay.
Maybe why I liked Revolver -- other than the great story -- is it was one of his few films that wasn't so Guy Ritchie filmed. Stylistically, it was much more subdued.
Ah, too bad about living a continent apart. I'd taken you up on those pickled pigs feet.
That said, I will admit I have not seen Revolver, and based on your comment, I will give it a shot and let you know my opinion. I know that most Ritchie fans say Snatched is the best, but I found it entertaining, yes, but routine.
I will also grant you that Tarantino has very much ripped off notable Asian films early on. It's just that his style was very original and made those flicks classic in every sense of the word. Maybe I'm predisposed to pooh-pooh Ritchie because, when Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels came out, it felt simply like a British rehash of a Tarantino film.
Dude, you live near me! We should totally get together with a jar of pickled eggs and binge watch every Guy Ritchie movie to decide who is right. I will concede if you can convince me Ritchie isn't the British clone of Quentin Tarantino, and even buy you a plate of fish 'n chips.
some k plus .
Thanks man, any leads on good toons or sci-fi, send them my way anytime. +5
