To take the book and source material, and make it what it is, I think James Franco did a fantastic job! 'The Room' will live on in infamy-- a cult classic/phenomenon, and this film not only highlights the bizarre production process and the ever-mysterious Tommy Wiseau, but it's funny and full of heart. It truly captures the absurdity and entertainment of the book, and showcases such wildly fascinating characters.

I haven't laughed out loud so much from a movie this whole year. I've heard of the movie The Room before, but this actually made me want to watch it. Fantastic performances with a wonderful comedic cast. I loved seeing a lot of my favorite actors playing these characters and knowing it's based off true events is even more satisfying. Franco really embodied Tommy Wiseau, highly recommend watching.

Oh my God. This was hilarious and amazing. I've been a huge Room and Tommy Wi fan for quite a while now and Franco really seemed to capture the lunacy, heart, and all around quirkiness of the legend himself. 9/10. A must see

I've been a fan of "The Room" for over 10 years, gone to the midnight screenings and thrown many plastic spoons. To TRULY appreciate this gem of a movie the right way, you need to watch the movie "The Room" with Tommy Wiseau, at least once, twice much better. I've seen it perhaps 20 times. It's the worst of the worst, which makes it the best. Again, you have to watch the movie first to understand all of this. If you want to take a shortcut, go on you tube and find the highlights/best of "The Room". If you don't do any of the above, you will NOT appreciate or really get why "The Disaster Artist is so good". Fact.; )

This is a beautiful movie and I am amazed anyone could pull it off, but even more amazed by who pulled it off. Props to the Franco Bros, Rogen and all others involved.

A funny, sincere and heartfelt story of chasing your dreams. Love the irony of how this movie is so good as it celebrates a movie so bad!

Weird. All I can say is: I did not hate this movie. It's not true. It's bullshit! I did not hate this movie. I did NAWT.

Oh my gosh, I'm not really sure about all these glowing reviews of this film being 'touching'! Tommy Wiseau is an unintentional legend of what not to do when making any film. I watched The Room BEFORE it was intentionally changed to 'Black Comedy'. I mean really, Tommy Wiseau was serious when he made it and he looks like a greasy haired, perv and a denier of his nationality (Polish). It was a funny film (The Room). Why are we slobbering all over this film? It's something I need to see in DVD quality, nevertheless I know I will not be among those who believe this is touching and heartfelt. TW was accused of laundering drugs for the Mafia; why is no one mentioning this? Where did he get all his money from? He is strange, even to this day. The Room is an unintentionally brilliant farce, but I will not deify its origins. James Franco is good, but doesn't come off nearly as creepy as TW, and cannot carry the TW jawline and receding grease-ball hair. JF looks too good in the role, for me. Thank you uploaders!

Based on the book by the same name (The disaster artist My life inside The Room) it`s nicknamed the greatest bad movie ever made. James Franco stars along with his brother Dave Franco. James Franco also directs. An excellent job is done by all especially the Franco brothers. At 39 Franco is well established as an actor and really becomes every character he plays. He is also a writer if you care to see some of his work on his web page. This film was a delight to watch and had me laughing out loud. It is a true story and details show up right before the credits. Give yourself a treat and watch!

whether you've seen the room or not, this tail of an unlikely friendship and the making of dream project gone horribly wrong will keep you entertained and laughing from start to finish. A+ effort from james franco in making this film.

This movie was amazing ! Since I saw the trailer for this film I knew I just had to see it. I mean at times I forgot it was James Franco I was watching. He's like tailor made for this role. I gotta say this movie had a great atmosphere and it's like those kinds of movies that let you just emerge yourself into the story and the characters. It makes you forget you're watching a movie with other words. One of the best movies I've seen this year. I would rate it 8/10 for sure !

The best and only movie this year! 5 bags of popcorn and two cute baby pigs to represent Pig Man. 2nd greatest film of this century (after "Entertainment")

Where the hell did the money come from??!! Lol, this was great even if you didn't see the room it's good if you did see it you will really get a kick out of hearing those ridiculous lines of dialogue again and there origins. Both Francos do a great job and the supporting cast are good as well. You are tearing me apart Lisa!!!!4/5

I had respect for the whole project. But seeing Tommy Wiseau try to start the thank you speech for James Franco's best actor award... The dude is not good!!
